According to Westminster’s 2023-24 Parking Report, compliance across the borough averages 94%, meaning about 6% of drivers are receiving fines. With 469,205 parking fines issued last year—an 11% increase from the previous year—enforcement is at an all-time high

Unclear or missing signage
Machine or ANPR camera errors
Payment was made but not registered
Medical emergencies or breakdowns
Step 2: Submit Your Appeal to Westminster Council

Appeals should be submitted online through Westminster’s parking appeal portal
Add supporting evidence, such as receipts, photos, or witness statements.
Step 3: Appeal Escalation – London Tribunals

You have 28 days to escalate your appeal after receiving the rejection.
Visit London Tribunals and submit your appeal using the unique code in your rejection letter.
How Long Does an Appeal Take?
Initial appeal: Typically reviewed within 21 days.
